Description Apple ‘Newton Wonder’ A medium to very large apple which has a greenish yellow to yellow skin which has a brownish to orange red flush on the exposed side and red stripes. The flesh cooks to a cream, juicy puree which is brisk. When baked the flesh is creamy and frothy. Late in the season it makes a brisk dessert apple. It picks in mid-October and can be used from November to March. (Derbyshire 19th Century). Flowering Group 5. Containerised Trees are supplied from September to August. Bare Root Trees are supplied from November to March
