Description Apple ‘Lane’s Prince Albert’ A large apple which has grass-green skin which changes to clear pale yellow as it reaches maturity, the exposed side is pale red with bright crimson stripes. The flesh is greenish-white, soft, cooking to a lemon puree. Picks in October and can be used through to March. (Berkhamstead, Herts. 19th Century) Flowering Group 4.
