Description Artichoke ‘Violet de Provence’ A early, beautiful artichoke. May produce small artichokes in first summer but remove these to eat at golf ball size. Don’t allow them to grow to full size. Cut to the ground in late may after croppinmg and another crop should come in 6-8 weeks. May need staking in windy areas. It will reach a height of 1.5m and a spread of 60cm.
